an extraordinary conference to examine concepts of "The OTHER" from a universal, cross-cultural perspective to promote wider public dialogue about images of "Us and Them".

over 45 presenters, facilitators, and visionaries - including conservatives and liberals from across the social-political spectrum, along with hundreds of concerned individuals, to take part in 4 DAYS of authentic dialogue bridging the divide and cultivating our capacity for appreciation of diversity, reconciliation, and genuine, respectful engagement.

PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE IS TO:
  Raise the level, depth, and breadth of public dialogue and awareness on core issues. Explore dimensions and dynamics of "The OTHER" on both individual and group levels, and consider how enemy identity is formed, perpetuated, and manipulated. 
  Identify and compile fundamental questions, dilemmas, and implications for further deep inquiry and examination.
  Tap our shared wisdom and compassion as a community - from the local to the global - in developing practical applications to reduce divisiveness and polarization and to promote a consciousness of peace.

FORMAT AND CONTENT:
A 4 day program of
- Keynote Speakers, - Topical Plenary Panels, - Concurrent Break-out Sessions of Workshops and interactive panels, - Daily Facilitated Dialogue Break-out Groups to engage concepts and explore practical applications, - Live 2-way Global Links to other countries, - On-site Pod-casting and Blogging, - Open Space, - Interactive All-conference Experiences, - Tibetan Buddhist Sand Mandala Ritual, - Morning Yoga sessions, - Exhibits and Displays, - Evening Social-Cultural Events and Community Activities, - Rich Networking and Action Planning, - Intentional Cross-cultural Community
Virtual participation: In addition to on-site presenters, key individuals and
groups of participants from other countries will be Skyped into the conference for real-time, 2-way participation during plenary sessions.
