All Registrations for Conference program,
all arrangements for Hotel Rooms, and all Conference Meals at the hotel are handled directly by Common Bond Institute (CBI)
Registration is not confirmed until after full payment is received.

~ Our Registration Policy ~

Registration Policy for Program Fees: *
  In keeping with our philosophy of working to minimize the economic disparity between countries as much as possible and reduce this barrier to participation, all Program Fees are based on participant's citizenship and current residence. Those from higher developed economies pay the regular program fee rate to allow us the flexibility to offer significantly subsidized (discounted) program fee rates to low income participants from lower economies who have little or no ability to pay. A list of countries with higher developed economies includes but is not limited to: USA, Canada, European Union and Western Europe, Kuwait, United Arab Emirites, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.
We operate on the honor system and appreciate your cooperation and support in providing accurate information at registration to allow this important intent to be successful and assist those in need.
  * All Accommodations, Meals, and other out-of-pocket expenses, are necessarily at the same rate for all participants (

 How to Pay: 4 Payment Options for ALL registrations:

Payment Option 1 »  Payments can be made by PayPal secure Internet banking for ALL registration options, including Email. Simply click the orange "Pay Now" PayPal button link below to go directly to our account with PayPal and see full details on how to use this secure service for your fee payment (including credit card and bank account withdrawl options).
  - You can pay by PayPal if you use the Email registration form.

A full detailed receipt will be provided to you by PayPal at completion of your payment.
This will be your Fee Payment Receipt and Confirmation. Please PRINT this receipt for your records and bring it with you to the conference for any verification.
If you register on-site your payment must be in cash or travelers checks (US dollars $ or Jordanian JD only), as access to the PayPal website in Jordan is limited and unreliable.

Please note: Payment must be in U.S. funds and received in time to record, deposit, and clear our bank (received by October 1).
* If hard copy payment can not be received for deposit by October 1 please use the PayPal service or wire transfer
for immediate verification of your payment in time for arriving on-site at the conference. PayPal accepts bank account withdrawls as well as credit cards.

Payment Option 4 »   Payment on-site only by Cash or Travelers check, and only in US dollars $ or Jordanian Dinars JD, as access to the PayPal website in Jordan is limited and unpredictable.
* PLEASE NOTE: Registration is not confirmed until payment is received, and hotel rooms and meals can not be reserved without advanced payment. Space in the conference and in the hotel is on an as-available basis.

  Cancellation Policy:
Refunds are given for cancellations received in writing by September 10, 2013, minus a $50 non-refundable administrative fee. After September 10, 2013 no refunds are possible.
Assignments possible:
You may also assign your registration to someone else for participation at no charge (assignments must be made prior to the conference date by the original registering participant and confirmed in writing directly to Common Bond Institute).

2) Accommodations (all participants) *

Hotel Stay
(Nights of October 16-19) at Retaj Hotel:

 per person, including full breakfast and all taxes & service fees

     4 nights full accommodations (double occupancy) and special ammenities at hotel (see hotel ammenities). 
* Single
room requests add $25 per day
    Includes full breakfast, unlimited Internet in room, Farewell dinner party, all taxes and service fees, and ammenities at conference hotel - see hotel ammenities.
    Meals are buffet and halal with a wide selection to accommodate diverse diets (vegetarian, poultry/fish, meat)
    Check-in is Wednesday, October 16 and Check-out is by noon Sunday, October 20
   Other than 4 nights at hotel:  This room rate is also available for purchasing additional nights prior to and after the conference dates for participants who must arrive earlier or leave late, if booked through Common Bond Institute. If you wish more or less nights please contact us for fee details and to book at the discounted rate. Advance notice is needed to hold rooms for any additional dates.
* All arrangements for conference accommodations and conference meal at the special discounted rate and room block availability are handled directly by Common Bond Institute. Rate and availability are not offered outside the conference room block.

3) Meals ONLY: (breakfast is included in above Conference Hotel Package fee, but not included in "Conference Only" fee)

  All meals are buffet and halal to accommodate diverse diets (vegetarian, poultry/fish, meat) with a wide variety of selections.

4) Post-Conference Tourism:
As a courtesy to our participants, we are happy to refer those interested to a local tourist service for separate hire to arrange for any excursions and cultural events wished after the conference.
Reserving relevant additional hotel nights is handled by CBI.

Ground Transportation:
Roundtrip Airport Transportation to the conference hotel is available for hire on an individual basis. Options are:

Public Taxi service (this is typically more expensive and on your own)

* Note: If you wish option 1 or 2 arrangements should be made in advance of arrival to ensure your pick-up is scheduled to be at the airport for your transportation to the hotel.

VISAS: Please contact the Jordanian visa office in your country re: any requirements and applicable procedure for travel to Jordan.
Important Note: Citizens of the following countries do not require securing visas in advance of arriving in Jordan. If you carry a passport from these countries you would instead purchase a visa at the airport in Amman upon arrival for approximately 30 JD (this must be in Jordanian currency - there is a money exchange in the airport customs area)

and South Korea.

(We also typically recommend bringing an extra passport type photo with you when traveling to other countries)
